General

With our trained and selected panel team we are able to measure and judge odour. The measurements are based on established and approved methods :

We perform all relevant odour tests established within this industry such as VDA 270, Honda or Nissan test. 

Consumer Products

For product characterization we use in most of the cases the method of dynamic olfactometry according EN 13725. The determination of odour concentration quantifies odour emission on a highly reproducible level. Within in research and development project or certifications odour reduction rates (efficency) can be calculated.

The Panellists

Critical for the result of such a measurement is the selection of the panel members. Our pool of approximately 25 panel members are selected and trained. A team that will provide the most accurate odour analysis for the product is put together. As an alternative to our own panel members, we also provide extensive training of test personal from your company. National and international guidelines and standards are maintained to provide the best analysis possible.
