Natural gas is odorised to provide the consumer with a personal safety mechanism to ensure smell detection of leaks. It is important that the odour concentration of the gas is strictly controlled to maintain a constant sensory alarm level.

Odournet offers interlaboratory tests for gas odorisation, in order to:

• Increase the reliability of results through the analysis of blind samples from several laboratories;
